Our products

Our candles, wax melts and diffusers are made by hand in small batches. Colour, surface and scent strength can vary a little from piece to piece and from the photos, and soy wax can frost - a pale bloom that does not change how a candle burns. Photos and scent descriptions are a faithful guide rather than an exact match.

Prices and offers

Prices are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). The delivery charge and the total you will pay are shown at checkout before you place your order.

Discount codes and gift cards are applied in the cart. One discount code can be used per order, and a code may carry its own conditions, such as a minimum spend or an end date. If a price on the site is plainly wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.

Placing an order

When you place an order we hold your items for you and send an order confirmation. The order is accepted once your payment is confirmed. If we cannot fulfil it - for example, if an item turns out to be out of stock - we will tell you and refund what you paid in full.

Paying

Checkout shows the payment methods we currently accept.

For DuitNow QR, scan the QR on the payment page, use your order number as the reference and upload your receipt. We usually confirm it within 24 hours.

Card and online banking payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

An order that is not paid within 48 hours expires and the items we were holding are released. We email you a reminder before that happens.

Delivery

We deliver within Malaysia by tracked courier. In-stock items are usually dispatched within 2 working days of payment being confirmed, and made-to-order items within 7 working days.

• West Malaysia: RM 10.00

Orders of RM 90.00 or more are delivered free, anywhere in Malaysia.

Tracking appears in your order page and is emailed to you when the parcel leaves us. The parcel is your responsibility once it has been delivered.

Returns and refunds

You can ask to return an item within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us first - returns need our approval before anything is sent back.

Unused standard items may be returned in their original condition after approval. Custom and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind. Contact the studio before sending anything back; return delivery costs are normally paid by the customer.

If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and its packaging, and we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund.

Approved refunds are paid back through the original payment method where possible, or otherwise by bank transfer.

Gift orders

Gift orders are packed without prices, with your message if you add one.

If you let the recipient choose their scent, we hold your item while they decide. If they have not chosen within 14 days, we send the scent you picked.

Gift cards

A Lumivane gift card can be used towards any order until the expiry date shown on it, and any balance left over stays on the card for next time. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

Using candles safely

Burn candles where you can see them, away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire, and follow the care guide that comes with each piece. We cannot be responsible for harm caused by using a product against its care instructions.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
